Chart Reading and Coastal Navigation - Even if your vessel is equipped with GPS you must be able to apply the picture on your screen with what you see around your boat. I will use charts to show you how to navigate safely by reading and understanding all the buoys throughout the harbors and channels to the open waters and away from the hazards that could damage your boat and injure your passengers.
Small Boat Handling - From ramp launching or leaving the dock to pulling along side vessels underway, moored or dockside, we will review all the procedures nescessary for a safe voyage.
Water Sports - If you are new to water sports and would like to learn to water ski or use a tube or one of the many other towables available today we will go over all your standard safety procedures. From proper fitting life jackets, handling the boat with a tow line, entering and leaving the water safely, rigging of lines and stowage of equipment, we will ensure you are able to offer your passengers a safe fun experience.
Trailering - If you are a first time boat owner or just someone who has never quite grasped the skill required to back a trailer around a turn, up a hill or behind the garage, we will have you backing like a pro !!
Full Moon Kayak Tours - Kayaking under the moonlight is an adventure that should be experienced by everyone. The area that we will tour provides a fair amount of wildlife and abundant natural beauty. These tours are limited and since there is only one full moon per month please reserve in advance.
